Hi, I'm Emily!
I am a certified Postpartum Doula with an associate in child development specializing in infants and toddlers. I am offering my support to families in Imperial Valley, CA, and Yuma County, AZ. I have a passion for helping parents feel supported and heard throughout their postpartum experience as well as find extra time for themselves whether that be a nap, a shower, or a hot meal. I have worked in infant childcare, preschool settings, and I am currently a part-time nanny. I want to be there for you and your family physically and emotionally during this delicate time in your life.
My Story
I found myself being drawn to doula work as I neared the end of my associate degree realizing that there are more options outside of being a preschool teacher. I have always had an interest in childbirth, early postpartum, and newborns, and being a postpartum doula was right up my alley! Now working as a nanny for the past 3 years with the same family, I have been able to witness the importance of support when it comes to caring for young children, especially in the early weeks and months of having a new baby. Now certified, I strive to provide support, comfort, and peace for new families when everything feels messy and chaotic.
