Supporting You Through The Fourth Trimester

What is a Postpartum Doula?

A postpartum doula is a person who is trained to care for and support new parents after they have their baby, the fourth trimester. This support can look like

  • light housework

  • meal prep

  • newborn care education

  • help with older siblings

  • care for newborn while parents rest, shower, and/or spend time with older children.

Postpartum care is so personal and is different for every family and sometimes every baby and postpartum experience. It is important to know that postpartum doulas are not medical professionals. We do not perform any medical tasks or diagnose :)

This care can range from a couple of weeks after birth to up to three months postpartum. I personally offer daytime support on weekends and late afternoons to evenings for families in the Imperial Valley and Yuma County area. ♡
